My five year old dog, a catahoula/chow mix, gets up off our bed every night now, and sleeps in the couch in our computer room, or the living room floor. She started doing this about a month ago. She also does that during the day now. I wonder what's wrong?

Hmm... does she sleep under the covers or is it hot in your room? My dog does that if he gets hot, he gets up and moves away, but if its cold he snuggles up to me. Im not sure, but its just a thought! (:

Any unknown behavior changes should always be checked out by your vet first to rule out any medical conditions/sicknesses/problems.

If he checks out clean, than he is just not wanting to sleep in your room. He may be getting too hot, Catahoula/chow's have a lot of hair.

Just because your dog changes a pattern in his own routine, doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with the dog.

Maybe you snore or have restless leg syndrome. Dogs like to be comfortable too! I wouldn't worry.
