    Brass basin drain gasket
    Hello,

I need a rubber collar gasket for a brass basin drain in shower stall -- vintage 1979ish. The rubber gasket is accessed from top side, slides down over 2inch pvc drain in center, and a brass ring tightens down on it and expands it around pvc drain pipe and brass basin drain to make seal. Can I buy this anywhere? Changing the whole basin drain to PVC is a Major issue. Finding this gasket would be extremely helpful and save many hours of cutting framing, patching, etc. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    John

Most hardware stores sell gasket material. You could cut one out yourself and save $$$

You have what is called a 'No-Caulk' drain assembly -- I've never seen the gaskets sold separately, so your best bet would be to buy a replacement drain assembly and rob the gasket from it.
