I am interested to know how many of the above car were produced in 1978 as a friend of mine is of the opinion that there were under 10 made (which would make my car very valuable). I am thinking of selling my car.

You do have a classic car but it is hard to put a price tag on it. I don't know how many were made. It is a European model. This link might help you figure out how many were produced:

I only found one example of a recent sale. It happened on eBay. Here is the link:

Please scroll down that page. You can compare it to the condition it is in versus your car's condition. It sold yesterday for 2000 BPS. If you are from the U.S. the conversion rate equals to just under $3,600. If might go for more if you and it are located in the U.S. or Canada.
