2-year old daughter bumped her head - should I go to ER?
Hi my name is Jessica and I have a soon to be two year old an she was running an smacked her forehead on the boarder along the wall and right away she has this huge bubble on her head! She has no symptoms what so every she acted like it never happened! What should I do, I put ice packs on it should I still take her to the ER? And I asked her does it hurt she said no, she talks very clearly an she will talk to me as if she was 4-5 years old. But I feel like I should still go to the ER... Just to be safe but its 2am an there sleeping should I wake her up an go or wait an see in the am? Please answer me!

I Think You Should Take Her Just To Be Sure.

Honestly? I doubt she was able to run fast enough into it to actually cause damage.

    How was she this morning?

When a child hits their head (which by the way, happens ALL the time) You watch for sleepiness, unfocused eyes, disorientation, headaches, nausea, etc.

She said it didn't hurt, she was behaving and speaking fine. I would say you are in the clear.

If you ever are in doubt, ERs have nurse lines that you can call to find out if you have an emergency on your hands or not.

She is fine... they kept her until the morning because the bubble on her head was so big it started to drop to her eye! So they had to drain it, they said she is a trooper. Its gone now, all she has is a little needle mark above her eye. I was relieved that everything was fine. Thank you
