John Deere Mower won't start after driving with break on
We just got a used JD Mower. My husband was giving the kids rides on it and didn't notice that the parking break was on. After about 1/2 hour the mower acted like it was out of gas and just stopped. There was no smoke or burning smell, but now the mower won't start. Can anyone help? Thanks!

    . Check the fuel level.

. Remove and fully charge the battery; clean the battery terminals and cable connections.

. Check the oil level. Once you get it running, change the oil and start using SAE 10W-30 full synthetic engine oil (e.g. Mobil 1).

. Check for spark. You may want to install a new properly gapped spark plug. If there's no spark, check all fuses and the cut-off switch.

. Clean the air filter. A clogged air filter can choke off an engine.
