The big problem I see here is you call him a boyfriend... and not an ex-boyfriend.

Another problem is that today the term "boyfriend" is so inprecise.

• In the literal sense, it is a friend, who happens to be male.
  
• In another sense, it is a male with whom one has a domestic relationship short of marriage.
  
• Or all shades in between

.

So as the others have asked why have you not left him, No you can not charge him with anything.

Dump him. I don't know what you want to charge him with. Unless you can prove that he's lying, and that his lies have had a negative effect on your business, and as a result you've lost money because of his lies, you can't sue.

As for charging him, with what? Being a jerk? If that was chargeable the jails would be full.

But you can leave him, and I'm shocked that you haven't already.
