Hi.I would just like to know if judges are more softer on perpertrators if they suffer from a mental illness.My brother is a manic depressive and he has done something while on parole.Any help would be much appreciated.

If he's done something on parole, he'll have to deal with the DOC, not a judge.. If he has NEW charges, then he'll deal with the judge, and then he'll deal with DOC.

I don't know who would have sympathy for him. I DO know that he'll need a good lawyer to present his case.
