My ex and I dated for 1 year and 1 month. We had our ups and downs but we made it threw it all. Towards the end of our relationship things got a little bad but I felt her and I would make it open threw it. This time she broke up with me. I wanted her back and she was confused. Now she is saying she wants to be friends but I want her back. What should I do? I really do miss her and I love her. She told me she loved me while we were dating too.

You accept the fact that she does not want dating status with you. If it bothers you being friends, don't do it. Break contact.

If you can't be friends without trying to get her back, leave her alone and get back to what you were doing before. That friends stuff seldom works right after a break up, because you will have all kinds of hope, falsely, that her mind will change, while she looks around for better things to do, leaving you holding the emotional bag.

Disappear, and let her miss you, or hate you for not being her emotional crutch while she moves on.
