I think my boyfriend might be gay. He's very masculine- a retired cop, motorcycle/dirt bike rider... and other manly things, but he has a friend that completely controls him. He's in his 50's not a youngster... When we are on vacation, this friend calls every single day. They spend a lot of time together. Also, we went for a motorcycle ride to a bar and a guy came over and just started talking to us out of the blue. I then noticed that my boyfriend was holding his drink with his pinky finger out (I have never noticed him do this before) and his legs were crossed like a woman's. I wondered if had given some sort of signal??

I have other suspicions but don't want to offend anyone (he walks funny).

My question is are there signals men give to other men that they're gay?

If he spends more time with his guy friend than he does with you, then this is a big red flag. And added to that are feminine features? I think you might want to talk to your man.

Does a woman that spends more time with her lady friends than a guy indicate she is gay too?

There are a lot of it depends here... crossing your legs? Lots of guys cross their legs when they sit ( we don't always see how wide we can spread our legs when we sit)... it depends on HOW he crosses his legs... the finger thing? Come on you are reaching now with that one...

Guys talk to guys all the time... sometimes (gasp) out of the blue... particularly when Motorcycles or cars are involved.

You know... when I was dating if I even got a word that someone thought they heard her say that about me... she would have been kicked out to the curb without a second thought... tread carefully.
