What causes my puppy to throw up a small amount of foamy stuff
My three month old puppy eats and drinks water well. He is current on all his shots. Occasionallly he throws up a foamy like substance. He was just at the vet and he told me my puppy is fine. Should I take him back to the vet and ask for some type of test?

You can take him back to the vet if it would ease your mind, but puppies vomiting up foam is fairly normal, providing it is not happening frequently.

My adults dogs still do the occasional foam vomit, sometimes with undigested grass. With puppies I find it can happen when they have just woken up or after a hard play session.

Thanks so much for your response. It eases my mind. He seems healthy but once in a while he vomits. He's three monthhs old and done it twice.
