could someone please tell me how to verify this identity, I'm having a hard time figuring this stuff out:
cot(-x) cos(-x) + sin(-x) = -cscx

As usuall with proving trig identities first convert the cot(-x) and csc(x) functions to their sine and cosine equivalents. Then recall that sin(-x) = -sin(x) and cos(-x) = cos(x). Take a stab at it and if you're still having trouble post back showing where you're getting stuck.
can anyone verify this
1+tanX/1+cotX = 1-tanX/cot-1
