When I turn on my TV, all I get is a horizontal line across the center of the screen. It was working fine a few hours ago. I've tried turning it on and off several times, but it's still the same. Do you have any suggestions for fixing this problem? It's a toshiba multi-system. Thanks.

Probably the "Vertical Size" circuit, more than likely a chip is dead. Definitely a workshop job, unless you are capable of identifying the circuit, the chip and are proficient with a soldering iron.
