I have a Kohler pull down faucet in my kitchen. The areator needs to be cleaned. How do I remove the screen. I can't see any way to grab hold of it and I'm not sure how much removes--just the screen or do the spray nozzles move also?

Hi Debbie and Welcome to The Plumbing Page. At AskMeHelpDesk.com. You're responding to a 4 year old dead thread so I gave you one of your own. Look in then upper left hand corner of the first post form the date in the first post before you post, Thanks,
Remove the aerator and check and clean the screen this may help. (see image) Good luck, Tom
Hello Debbie,
I gave you my opinion on your previous post but Tom override me he gave you your own post he is the expert and he does this all the time he ignores the others which is not a good habit, I gave you my suggestion to soak the Aerator or the nozzle in vinegar for a few hours it may clean the screen and will fix the problem, good luck.
John
Sorry John, My bad! I'll try to watch it in the future. But if the screens or flow testrictor were loaded with trash would soaking help? Tom
Hello Tom,
If there is calcium build up in the screen yes soaking in the vinegar will help to dislodge the calcium, if other debris no, Thanks.
John
Thanks Tom
