My boyfriend son is 10 and he is obsessed with him, we never have alone time due to his son needs all his attention and when I bring this up I am told don't be so foolish. For example is it normal for a father to have a pee race with his son, there is no privacy when you are in the bathroom the child just walks in and nothing is said to him, he comes into the bedroom at 7am and crawls into bed with us, usually in the middle and then cuddles up with his father, I feel uncomfortable with this, we need our alone time,we have to watch what he wants, he intrups and nothing is said to wait your turn.. the list can go on and on but I am tired of being second best, a child needs rules and this one has none he does what he wants and is very lazy he can't even get his own drink , his father sees nothing wrong with it... what do I do?

Tell your boyfriend about your concerns in the most polite way possible. Explain to him that his son's behavior is inappropriate and makes you feel very uncomfortable.

I agree with you; this child doesn't seem to understand the concepts of privacy and boundaries. However, never chastise your boyfriend's kid. It doesn't seem as if you are his mother, so you cannot be the disciplinarian figure in his life.

No I am not his mother but when I try to talk about it I get you are being jealous of him, but how much do you have to put up with.. I think its wrong when a child sees his father naked more than I do
