    Am I pregnant?
So me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years and I was his first and only lover but I myself have had 2 previous lovers. We have never used condoms because he is allergic to latex so I got on a birth control (depot shot). The shot messed me up bad because I was on my period for 6 months straight after getting the shot 2 times. I didn't go back for the 3rd shot because I wanted my period to regulate. When I finally stopped bleeding we had sex and he came inside of me by mistake. I still haven't gotten my period and it's been almost 40 days and before the depot I've never gone over 30 days. I took to pregnancy tests and they both turned up negative at first but turned positive and the line was very faint. I've never had a positive test so I don't know if the test was defective by the way it turned up or what. Just today I saw that I had a lot of white milky discharge when I took my underwear off. Lately I haven't had an appetite and my grandmother dreamt of fishes the other night. Is it possible that I am pregnant or could it be the depot shot messing with my body since my period was on straight for 6 months? Please help me I'm scared.

For the record, he could purchase Latex-Free condoms.

Its entirely possible the Depo shot is having a negative affect on your cycles. When the pregnancy test eventually turned up positive - did you read it past the time limit? If the test says results should be within 2 min and you get a positive result at 5 min, it can't be trusted and you'll need to test again.

Of course you know the fish dream idea is just an old wives' tale.

I highly recommend taking another test while following the directions very carefully. If there is any doubt beyond that, ask your doctor for a blood test.

Thank you for actually answering my question and not insulting me. That really helped.
