I recently had to take a drug test to see my wife at a rehab facility and they took it and they guy read the results and then went into another room full of people and said out loud is he clear on all counts for everyone in that room to see my drug test results. We're my hippaa rights violated?

I don't know that drug testing, as opposed to your health care, is covered by HIPAA. Only if so, were your rights violated.

So how do you feel your privacy rights (and the HIPAA regulations are essentially that) have been infringed upon to your detriment? You don't want the world to know you are not a drug abuser?

It's not that it was very ing rude and I don't want other people knowing my test was clean or not cause its my business and other patients ( drug addicts) were in the room looking at my results
