If they don't indict me in 61 days then is all this crap over? I have 5 more days left and the 61 days is over but still I am on the docket the 4th of next month but my 61 days is up the 2nd of next month, they charged me and my husband both with robbery 2nd and we didn't do it, its her word against ours, even the lawyer said that she don't think that the judge even believed the girls story, they could tell that she was lying but still I am scared they will try to indict us over this crap and I don't want to be away from my kids and family , I am out on bond but they said that my husband risk was to high to even get out on property bond what ever that meant anyway can you help me do you think that they will indict us and us with 5 days left and the 61 days is up, and why are we still showing that we are on the docket the 4th 2 days after the 61 days is up ? Our landlord didn't even give us a 30 day or 60 day notice and didn't even give us time to get our stuff out of the house he changed the locks on us so we couldn't even get our stuff out of the house, he kelpt all of our stuff and sold it or burned it or something and he is saying that we can't do nothing about it, can we I mean he got rid of all my kids clothes and toys and everything on us and all of our clothes and stuff also , so can we do anything about this or what?

Yes I am sure April the 2nd was the day we were in court , so our 61 day indictment is up the 2nd of June.

    Hello c:

I've never heard of a 61 day limit. I believe they can indict as long as the grand jury is in session. It MAY be that that particular grand jury was set to expire in 61 days...
