My ex owes me 55,000 in back child support. Then he got on ssd and they dropped my support order in court and just kept the arrears set for him to still pay on. Yes I do get a Chen k in the mail monthly for my daughter but its not money coming out of his check. This is benefits my daughter would had received whether my ex had to pay any child support. So what I don't understand is why are the federal government paying my exs child support and absolutely nothing is coming out of his pocket. It just doesn't seem right that some children are receiving this benefit just because and people like me have to use it for child support.

What's "Chen k"?

But with certain types of disability, the children of the disabled are entitled to a stipend. This isn't support but an entitlement. It has nothing to do with support. You need to go back to the court or the support collection agency to help collect the arrears.
