Can they, yes, will they, don't know. Children and Family Service, ( or your agencies name) has no sense of humor or any desire except to enforce their rules.

Also if there is a reason that custody is to be taken from her, are you causing them danger by hiding them?

"Breaking the law". That's how you start. Who are you referring to, you or your daughter? I think you were referring to YOU. So, you asked can you be put in jail or lose your kids.

How come those are the ONLY bad things on your list? There are others. Some even worse than the ones you mentioned. I think you need to broaden your horizons.

Why do you think the state wanted to take the children away? They really don't do it, unless the children are at risk... That means, as long as she has your GRANDCHILDREN in her care, they're at RISK. These are YOUR grandchildren. Why wouldn't you want to protect them? They're helpless. Your daughter isn't. What about your other children? They're at risk too.

And, even if you and your children escape harm from your daughter, you're not going to escape harm from the state. It's not going to be pleasant no matter what they do.

If you want to HELP your daughter, put her in a motel and hire a lawyer for her.
