My boyfriend helped raise his exes baby from 8 months to 7 years . They have been broken up for 8 or 9 years and the child Is 20 or 21 now . He claims that his ex is now gay and has a girlfriend now supposedly . His exes son is off in the navy and my boyfriend says that he just gets updates from his ex. I find it hard to believe especially since I caught him talking to his ex wife . He also texted a face picture to both of his exes. I love him but since I've been with him he's given me 100 reasons to be insecure and I've never been insecure in any relationship thus far. Am I wrong for not being OK with him keeping in touch with his ex girlfriend for the adult child he helped raise years ago and could her being gay just be a front in hopes that I'll be OK with it?

How often do they communicate and have there been other instances that cause you to not trust him? The child is a grown man and they have been divorced 8+ years, but when you raise a child, it is still your child even when he/she is an adult and divorce does not change that.
If she is gay she will have no interest in him so I don't see the problem. Is she in a relationship?
