    I need space
I started dating this girl for a bet less than 4 weeks! I know that don't sound like anytime for most people but the problem was that we just had lots in common and got very close. When we first started she showed me lots of attention to the point where we spent most of the four weeks together and then she text me " i feel smothered and i need space" do I just put it in my head that she is dumping me and move on! I was doing very well with my life and she brought me down!

Yes. You're rushing things and she's way ahead of where she wants to be. In her mind. I don't know the reality, but that's what she thinks. Your best bet is to apologize for rushing her, and let her make the call for herself.

Well 4 weeks is still in the butterfly stages. That can last for much longer than 4 weeks too. But spending too much time with anybody will drive them away. To attract a woman you have to pull back and make her come to you. If you go into towards her that makes her think your either stalking her or to emotionally unstable to handle the relationship. In a relationship never give the woman more than 50%.

If you feel like that then move on. Seems you two should have talked honestly about it, and gotten an understanding of what comes next.

Give her what she wants which is space. This may be her way of dumping you and she may not be ready for anything serious. 4 weeks is a very short period to get too attached, like Chuff said, that 'butterfly stage' can last a lot longer. You were doing fine before you met her and you will do fine without her now. If she calls, great, if not just consider it a bit of fun while it lasted. If you came here saying you were together for 4 years, my advice would be a little deeper but at 4 weeks, you won't take long to put this behind you. Don't want to sound like I am downgrading your feelings about it but it really will be okay and you will wonder what all the worry was about in a month I would imagine.
