My 3 month old pug has got parvo... I took him to the vet and they gave him Metoclopramide Hydrochloride(four times already) injection for his vomiting and the vomiting has reduced considerably unless we make him drink too much electrolytes at one go. The vet gave metronidazole IV for the last two days. The doctors gave an anti biotic(ceftriaxone) and he had two shots already yesterday and the day before that (125 mg/ shot). B-complex liver extract with vitamin B 12 has also being injected by the vet for the last two days. In spite of all this he still got watery and chocolate-brownish stool. Is there anything I can do apart from giving him his ceftriaxone injection? I also want to know how much electrolytes and dextrose should I give to meet his requirement? (he is dehydrated and malnourished because he hasn't eaten for three days and we are trying to force feed him with bland baby food) waiting for your response. Thank you so much.

Parvo is a tricky disease, I do hope things turn out well for you.
You could try Gatorade or pedialyte instead of plain water to replenish some of the electrolytes.
Small frequent meals (if there is no more vomiting) would be better for him.
Don't force too much into him, his stomach just may not be able to handle it.
The intestinal tract will need to rest some in order to heal.
I realize that it's hard not to want to feed a puppy, I've had a couple of parvo survivors myself and you just want to feed them, I know.
Think about when you yourself have a stomach issue, your appetite just isn't the same and you have to take it easy until it is comfortable to eat again.
If the diarrhea is still a concern to you and is still bloody then you should call your vet to update them.

The bloody diarrhea has not stopped. What else can be done?

Try to keep him hydrated with the Gatorade and call your vet, since they have knowledge of his status they should be able to guide you.
Just curious was he hospitalized and on fluids at any point or did you take him in and then return home with him after he got the injections and meds.

The hospital in our area only has an OPD so I take him there everyday and wait on him to get his fluids. He has been on IV fluids for 5 days now. The Vet says he has developed gastritis. I have force fed her with baby food which he throws out at times. His stool is not bloody anymore but is still a bit watery. What do I do next??

By throws out do you mean vomits or simply that he rejects it and spits it out?
Ask your vet about a bland prescription diet, like Hills I/D or Iams Lo-Res, or even boiled chicken and rice, or hamburger and rice (boiled, drained of all fat and no seasoning)
Think about it, baby food is a runny watery mess, not likely to come out looking like real poop.
Of course it is good for them if you get it in them, it has gotten many dogs over a hump, but perhaps he needs something a little more solid.
How is he overall?
Depressed, happy, lethargic, alert?
