    Lottery and child support
My ex won a huge lottery jackpot he hasn't paid any child support for our 3 kids but has bought a house and cars. How does Florida deal with this? Do I have to go to court to have them raise the child support or do they do it automatically? And also I think he won it whil married to me because we were only divorced one month when he supposedly claimed it

If your support is through the state I would call them first. They are supposed to check for arrears before paying out. As far as finding out when there was a winner. You might be able to find that out if it was a lotto ticket and not a lottery ticket. The difference being that one type is drawn from a pool of numbers on a given time and date. A lottery ticket is not so it may be harder to prove unless he had it verified and later turned it in.
