What to do against Social Phobia?
I use Zoloft, but it doesn't really help. So does any one know?

I thought Zoloft was just for depression. As a person who has always suffered from social phobia I can honestly tell your that I have spent hours researching social phobia cures. About the only thing I've seen that has any proven solution to the problem is through conditioning. That is facing your fears slowly and gradually. For instance, going to public places more often. Basically putting yourself into social situations on a continuing basis. Scary thought I know, but this is a common therapy used to treat social phobia.

Speak to your doctor about your medication. Zoloft CAN help with anxiety (as can most anti depressants) but you have to find the one that is right for you.

Always tell your doctor when something is wrong with the treatment he prescribes. He can fix it. By raising or lowering your dose, changing your meds, trying therapy, and many other options.
