Please give more details, what do you mean about paying for 1/2 of your "ex"

Did you have your own income ?

But you did it as a new question, one of the other moderators deleted it, since it is against site rules to ask the same question twice,

You will need to post that info to this question.

She didn't pay half of my expenses throughout the year. I moved out before June 1st. Turned 18 in July. She only made $10,000 in the year I made about $5,250. I filed my taxes through turbo tax on my phone app. I did not receive my federal tax return because my mom claimed me. Do we figure something out between the two of us or what do we do?

Try working it out. She may have gotten more by claiming you.

She thinks I have to file an amend and won't get that idea out of her head an I don't know what to do about it

You can file claiming yourself and let the IRS sort it out.

But that's what I don't want to do because she doesn't have the money to deal with the IRS

Were either of your returns rejected? What is the status of them?

Mine was because she had already claimed me. I did my taxes on turbo tax on my phone

Yes, if you file electronically claiming someone as a dependent who has already been claimed the return will be rejected.

So what happened then? Did you file manually, request an extension or what? Its over a month past the deadline.

Even though your mom claimed you as a dependent you should still file a return to get your refund (if any). The issue is that because she claimed you as a dependent you cannot take an exemption for yourself on your own return - so box 6A should not be checked. Then you should be able to submit your return and get your refund (if any). If your phone app allows you to make that change and resubmit try it. But be sure to make a printed copy of the tax return for your records.
