Asaalaama alaikum LOVE FOR ANIMALS IM AN ARDENT ANIMAL LOVER

Just want to ask I'm n ardent animal lover and love animals but keep only cats at home .MY cats sleep with me mostly on my bed and alhamdulillah I say my five times salaah obediently. I don't believe I can't keep cats because I fairly strive and struggle to follow the path of the true religion of islam so am I wrong in keeping them as my most beloved pets that's CATS. Please reply
