At 14 he has an opinion but he does not get to make the decision.

Why doesn't he want to visit with his father?

The father lives out of town?

If you have a visitation order that says you have to have your son available for visitation, then you have to have him available. You do not, however, have force him to be with the father.

If he doesn't want to, then you should go back to court for a modification.

If he does not go to the visit, the father may take you back to court and try to have contempt charges placed. You can try and use the defense that the boy does not want to go. It will be up to the judges view point of this. Also if they feel that you have tried to turn him against the father, that may be used against you.

Not saying you did, but saying what the fathers attorney will most likely try and say.
