    Abnormal pap
Well I am 9 weeks 4 days now and I went to my first doctor apt when I was 7 weeks and my pap came back abnormal and they think it might be cervical cancer. Lately I've been having Continuous vaginal discharge, which is watery and has a foul-smell. Is that a sign, what does that mean ? Well see I am in the military and stationed over see and I can't go to different hospital and get different opinions, so any advice or anything would help. Is it possible for me to have cervical cancer if I am only 21?

It is possible to have cervical cancer at 21. Your doctor should do a colposcopy, which uses a special scope to look at the cervix (after applying a dye) and removing a very small piece for biopsy. Sounds much worse than it actually is. I just had one about 1-1.5 months ago. My results came back as high grade displaysia... almost cancer. They were able to do a surgical procedure to remove the abnormal cells. I'm also trying to get pregnant, and my doc informed me that the medical treatments wouldn't affect pregnancy were I to get pregnant during that time. The discharge you are describing sounds like you have some sort of infection. Usually the foul smell indicates infection. Let your doctor know about the discharge, and make sure to ask what further tests they are planning to do concerning the abnormal cervical cells. Good luck. I hope this helped!

Yes it is possible. Two of my friends were recently diagnosed with cervical cancer and they are age 21 and 20. It is rare, but it happens. It just so happens we are all in the military, also stationed overseas. Where are you stationed, maybe I can help you.
