What to do if water gets in electrical outlet
I just tipped over a half gallon container of water down the side of my counter/ stove. I know that some water probably splashed or spilled behind the electric stove, too. The clock on the stove is still working, as are all the lights, etc. on the kitchen. Without pulling the stove away from the wall, I cannot tell if I got water on or around the outlet that the stove is plugged into. Should I be concerned? Would this be a fire hazard? Please advise! Thanks!

If nothing has happened yet you are probably OK.

Ok, thanks. Would it just trip the breaker? Are there other concerns or what else would happen?
