1996 Honda Civic Crank but won't start (no spark)
    Hello There,

What happen was the previous owner install two kill switch, one for the fuel pump and one for relay under the steering wheel. It wasn't wired neatly and my kids accidentally kick one of the wired and disconnected the fuel pump kill switch and that shut down the whole car while I was driving.
I had read most of your article about honda civic crank but won't start. I pretty did most of everything on the article including, replace the battery, replace spark pulg wired & spark plug, replace the whole disturbutor itself. Still not getting any spark when trying to start the car. If I hold the key to start, it will crank a couple of time and died.
The check engine light comes on and off but the battery light stays on when the key in the start position. The timing belt is spining when try to start and the roto itself on the new disturbator. Could it be the problem with the killed switch? But I remove all the wireing for it.
I don't know what else to do can anyone help me please?

    1. Make sure you connect the wires going to the main relay correctly, after disconnecting the kill switches. The problem is likely in this area, since you said the car was running prior to your child kicking a kill switch wire loose.

    2. If your new distributor is OEM, and includes a new igniter and coil, then I would take a DMM and start checking for voltage at key junctures. On this site, there have been a number of instances where new aftermarket distributors prevented the car from starting.
