    Shower not getting hot enough
I have a Vaughn Forrester Libra model7 shower head. Not getting enough hot water. Water in sinks and tub do not have problem. Do I need to adjust mixing valve? Is there anything I can do w/o having to call a plumber? I have well water. I took the shower head apart and it was full of mineral deposits which I cleaned off. Could mineral deposits be a problem. There is a special filter on the main water supply that I change every 6 months.

    Thanks

Those mineral deposits are likely also clogging your mixing valve. Move your valve to full cold only and get a sense of the volume, now move it to full hot only, betting volume is much less. What valve do you have, don't need to know about the shower head but am starting to think Libra 7 is the mixer not the head. If so, I have never seen or worked on one. Can't find any cartridges or manufacturer.

No you don't! That's your shower valve. Check the temp limit control if there is one, If that's not it then shut the water off and open up the valve. Remove the cartridge and check and clean the inlet ports. Now turn the water on for a minute to flush out the supplies. Reassemble and test. Good luck, Tom
