Hey there, I've been on depo for about a year in January. I just recently got off it cause I've been bleeding for 6 months straight.
I've been with 1 sex partner in the past 3 years, and that was with my boyfriend. The last time we had sex was December the second week, and since then I've been bleeding. Every time I have sex I'm bleeding during and after, and I always have those blood clots, and I always have really bad cramps. I'm scared I don't know what to do, even my doctor doesn't know what's wrong with me. People say that it could be because I was on depo for so long, and that my body wasn't used to it, so that's why I just got off it, but I just want to know when will I stop the bleeding? I just want to be done with bleeding, especially after 6 months straight! I don't know what to do? Help!

When exactly did you come off depo? Since it does take 12-14 weeks for the injection to wear off and you could still just be suffering from the side-effects.
Have your periods become regular again?

Exactly? Would have to be about 1 week ago, and no I'm bleeding exactly how am I 6 months ago, it won't stop. You think that I should get back on it? Or stay off it? Cause I mean 1 year in January I've been on it for, and only after I had sex with my boyfriend I started bleeding, and I wasn't bleeding at all when I first went on it, then just out of know where I started, and yeah pretty much, Every time we have sex, which is kind of embarrassing for me, and thanks a lot, I'll look in too it!

I would stay off it, it clearly doesn't suit you but there are so many other conceptive's that you can try to find the one that suits you best.
To me it seems that its most likely down to the contraceptive you were on, depending on when you got your last injection it could take up to 3 months for your period to start getting back to normal.
If you are under a great deal stress it could be making it a bit worse ,but it would not be the main reason for your problem.
If symptoms persist or your still worried about it I should definitely go back to your doctor
