I have been on birth control for a long time now. I was off for a while do to money situations but now that I got it back, my period is almost 2 months late! What is going on? I was put on the birth control so that it would regulate my period. I was real heavy for almost 3 months. It was nonstop. I had to change my tampons more than 10 times a day!!
When I got put on b.c. I was regular again. But since I've been off, I'm 2 months no period. It feels good not having it but now I'm getting worried. What is going on? Please help me. Any advice is appreciated.

Birth control is "suppose" to regulate your period, but when you miss a pill or you stop taking them sometimes it send everything out of wack. Of course the best advice is to call your doctor or your local health department. However, If it were me, I would either wait another month and see if you start, or I would start taking the pills again to try to regulate myself... Now Of course I am saying this under the asumption that you have not had sex with a man... If you have then you will need a pregnancy test... other wise it could be a lot of other reasons.
