    Not legal...

I suppose they aren't going to be aware of this?

My neighbour is hooked up to the main sewer and was wondering if I could also try to hook up to this... like a "y". The owner is aware of this.

Still not legal... why don't you run your own line to the main sewer? What country is this incidentally... I'm assuming the USA.

If the job were completed it would be red tagged and you would be cited. Have you run this by the Building Department? Are you attempting to get around paying a hook up charge? What's the reason for this? Back to you. Tom
