I am 7 weeks pregnant and I started spotting is very scary for me I have to kids and this never happen when I was pregnant of them is this normal on Sunday I went to the hospital and they did a vaginal ultrasound and they said they could not tell if I was having a miscarge. Is this normal please some one help me.

Some spotting may be normal, but it is understandable that you would be concerned given that it hadn't happened with any of your other pregnancies. Usually it would be more of a concern if there was heavier red bleeding and/or cramping. However, some mild cramping off and on may be normal as well.

If it continues, give your doctor a call for the peace of mind.
