Hello Doctor!

I am a 33 year old single female. I have recently received a marriage proposal from a man who is 7-8 years younger to me. I find that the person is genuine, and I would like to accept his proposal. But I get to hear lots of stuff regarding the age difference. Some of these are:
1. If a younger man marries an older lady, his life expectancy reduces.
2. Sexual compatibility becomes an issue.
3. Conceiving becomes a big problem.
4. Kids, if born, would be abnormal/sickly.
etc.

Doctor, I would want to know from an expert like you if the above contentions are at all true. If true, what can be done to take care of the problems from now. All these because I personally believe if you have faith on something and your attitude is right, then everything falls in place.

Please advise.

Where did you hear this garbage? None of it has any bearing in fact as far as I know. I wouldn't even dignify that claptrap by dealing with any of them individually.
