I stopped taking birth control about two or three months ago. My boyfriend and I were so caught up in the moment that we didn't use protection one night. Since then, I haven't had my period yet, which has been about 4.5 weeks. However, when I was not on the pill years earlier I had irregular periods. Now I have a very heavy and odorous amount of cervical mucus. I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet because I'm hoping that my period might come soon. I also have been having very intense cramps that shoot down to my thighs from my abdomen. My main concern is that I have been drinking lately with my friends. Could I be pregnant?

Short answer... you had sex... therefore you could be pregnant... until you take a test all anyone can do is guess.
