    About business-desk domain name
    Hi,

I've recently registered a domain business-desk.com some time back and when I checked who is it I saw it was registered or created on 1998-12-14, now my question before I could work on the domain, will there be any hindrance in future in terms copyright or the ownership issues, please let know.

    Regards

    Alan

If you bought the domain from sites like godaddy.com , then there is nothing to fear . But you can still main the admin of godaddy.com and clear all your doubts .

In the mid to late 90s, there was a lot of speculation in domain names. People registered domain names simply because they thought someone would be willing to pay. Some people did well (I think drugs.com sold for $8 mil), others lost their investment because there was no interest. At that time it cost about $75/yr to register a domain.

A domain does not become available immediately after expiration. The owner is given time to renew. Domain name registration is controlled so only certain companies can register domains. So if you bought it, its yours.
