Hey, I'm gay and I'm 18 years old, I've always had a thing for straight guys witch is pretty stupid considering I no I don't have a chance with them but recently I have really really fallen for my friend lewis, who is straight I've seen him with girls before. Just the other night we went to a house party of a mutal friend of ours called sonia... who he really likes. Me and lewis stayed together most of the night chatting away and drinking and he pulled me closer to him and sort of made me cuddle into him and he kissed me on the fore head then smiled at me, it was like the cutest thing I've ever seen but I have no clue what it means :/... as the night got on he was very flirty with sonia and I'm sure they had a kiss or two and when he was around her I was jelouse but didn't show it... can someone try and give me a decent answer to set me right or give me a little advice please? thanks.

It might be a good idea to think about why you keep falling for straight boys. Is it because you're afraid of actually having a relationship or physical connection on some level? No matter who you are, or what you're into -- everyone has a few fears knocking around in there to keep them "safe"... (it's normal for anyone in late teens and early 20s to be a little daunted by the unknowns of sex and relationships!)

Guys can do all sorts of odd things at parties (or under the influence)... my advice to you is to relate to this guy as a friend and start opening yourself up to the idea of bi or gay guys to connect with. Falling in love with a straight guy will only break your heart in the end.

How old are you, how guys behave differ by age.

Also best way to ruin a friendship try to make it something it is not.

Are you open about yourself being gay, do you live a open gay lifestyle, if not why not ?

I'm 18, I'm not trying to make him gay or nothing because I no I can't and I don't want to ruin our friendship I was just confused and needed a little advise on how to deal with it really, and yes I'm open about myself to others. Thanks for replying.
