I have an LCD flat screen and use DirectTV. My cat accidentally stepped on the remote control during the night and turned the TV on, but now there is no sound.It is not muted and the volume is turned up.The remote is working. I feel like its another button she's stepped on at the same time but can't figure out what the problem is.

You might try pulling the power plugs on your satellite box and TV for a few seconds and then plugging them back in. I would do both devices, as the mute problem may be in the satellite receiver.
