But to answer your question, no.
There is generally no right to pro-rate the month. The tenant should have given a month's notice. And, because for one thing the tenant didn't do so, the landlord is entitled to keep the full month's rent. This is intended to give the landlord time to find a new tenant. Acutally, if the tenant left with out notice, the landlord would probably be entitled to another month's rent as well.

No. In fact, because you didn't give 30 days notice, YOU might be liable for another months rent.
