I have a 2001 honda civic.. the other day when I was driving to work my aftermarket intake came a lose and now my car runs crazy. I reset the computer but still the same problem. When the rpms reach about 4000-4500 the car revs up and down, just like it has a rev limiter on it.. it won't go past 5000 rpm at all. Plus its idling weird and the tranny I shifting weird also.. sensor went bad? The egr valve is what it acts like... I need some advice.. thanx

Purge the cooling system of all air. Try filling the radiator with coolant, until it come out the bleeder bolt. Ensure the coolant reservoir is filled to the FULL Line. If the problem persists, check for codes.
