I'm 13 and I love my parent... but I want to move in with my aunty!
Two years ago my family moved 9hours away from all our close family members... I haven't liked the move since we have got here. But my mum and dad love it up here and refuse to move back. How do I tell mum I want to move back with my aunty and uncle 9hours away? I think I am being quite selfish with my views... but I carnt handle it anymore. I hate it up here and I haven't got many friends because of my sister. My aunty is pregnant, so I don't know if I should move in with her.
But she is my last option... I love my home town, I just wish mum and dad did too! Please help. I don't know what to do and I need to get out of this place.
I have tried ignoring my feelings, but it just doesn't work... PLEASE HELP! :(

What does your sister have to do with your not having friends? Perhaps if you look for the good instead of focusing on what you don't like maybe you'll see things differently

What are the advantages of the new location?

And you most likely just can't move, you need to start trying to make plans to be happy, not plans to get away

Just tell your parents how you feel, and if they refuse to move just try to accept it. Just be happy and try to see things through your parents eyes.. They probably moved for a reason. Just be happy:) & good luck!

When adults move, it is generally because their job moves or they move to get work. Expecting parents to move because a child doesn't like it is totally unrealistic.
