Period 9 days late and 3 negative hpt
Hey everyone. My partner and I have been trying to conceive conceive for 7 months now. After getting discouraged I did some research and talked to my doc. My pertner had his semen tested, while waiting for the results I was ovulating so we bd'd and I inserted a softcup after each time to keep his swimmers closer to my cervix. Turns out he has weak sperm and my doc told me that in oreder to get pregnant they would have to "wash" his spern to collect only the healthy, strong sperm and inseminate me. I had very little spotting about a week ago for two days. The first day was a very minimal amount of red blood only noticed on toilet paper when I'd wip. The second day was a bit of brownish discharge. Could that have been my period for this month or implantation bleeding? I'm now 9 days late for my period and I have taken 3 tests all BFN. Could I be pregnant? I'm getting anxious to get this insemination process going if not... help? Thank you!!

The only most accurate pregnancy test is always the blood test at your OB-GYN. For that reason, it is difficult to help you over the internet.
However, I will give you the worst-case scenario so that you are prepared for whatever your doctor reveals. It sounds like you are hoping for your first child and after seven months, the waiting is getting to be rather difficult. This emotional stress can actually delay or eliminate your period all-together. I know this is not the news you would like to hear, but thought I would discuss all possibilities.
As for implantation bleeding, it is still a good possibility. Implantation bleeding is typically very different from traditional bleeding--it may be brownish, as you have experienced. According to your timeline, your unusual bleeding started when you should normally be getting a full period. Typically, implantation bleeding would occur a bit sooner than this but it is not uncommon for it to coincide with the earliest days of your scheduled period.
Please save yourself the anxiety attack and get rightly tested by your physician. I hope it is the news you are wishing to hear!
