Last menstral period was on April 12,2012. Next expected period was suppose to be the 10th of May but started on the 14th with light pink and brown spotting. Took a home pregnancy test on the 11th of May which came out negative. What could be the problem? Should I retake test?

Most likely took the test too early, wait about 1 even 2 weeks and test again.
