    thanks guys.

3 months after a C-section... you shouldn't be having sex just yet... heck that's kind of soon even if you delivered vaginally.

When did your doctor tell you it would be safe to resume activities?

However there ARE other activities you could participate in until its safe.

It sounds as though he is just wanting to be sure that you have had time to heal properly and be ready. He may also be somewhat concerned about another pregnancy occurring so close to the last.

Most doctors will say you can resume sexual relations after you have had your postpartum check-up. With a c-section, some may suggest waiting a couple of extra weeks or so.

If you are unsure, call your doctor and ask. Discuss birth control options that will work for you and your husband. Then you can share that information with your husband. If he is still unsure, or uncomfortable, offer to set an appointment with your doctor so that the two of you can go in and ask questions together.
