I have a 2001 Mercedes E320 and it won't move out of park, but it'll start. Can someone tell me what the problem could be please?

Test all under dash and under hood fuses with a test light or multimeter. Ensure that the brake lights come on when you depress the brake pedal--the brake on/brake off switch needs to be adjusted properly and must work.
