    Water pump running
    I have all new plumbing in my house... nothing is leaking ,new foot valve in well but my pump is losing pressure and kicking on every 10 to 20 min... what else could it be ?

    To eliminate the easy and obvious first... are you certain you don't have a toilet flapper valve leaking into the bowl on one of the bathrooms? Easy to miss and could easily cause this. New or not... something might be preventing a seal.

    Let's isolate the problem. Shut the water valve off at the pump. Does the pump pump up to pressure and cut off or does it shut off, lose pressure and start up again? Let me know, Tom

    I put a new tolit kit in its not leaking... I can even turn the valve off at the tolit it still kicks in...

    Hay tom thanks for answering my question... I turned the valve off at the pump and its still losing pressure... could it be the air bag in the tank?

    Nope! That wouldn't do it. My first bet is the foot valve. Why was it changed and is it doing the same thing after you changed the foot valve? Back to you, Tom
