    A continuation.
About a week ago I posted about me having a period 8 days after I just finished one and wanted to know what was going on. Well it lasted exactly 7 days (just like the privious one) only this time, I had a very clear, almost watery discharge, a few days later. Again, I was wondering what is going on. I am in the military and currently in the field training to go back to iraq during the week days, so going to the obgyn is a very difficult thing to do, so any information I can get from this web site is much appreciated. Thank you.

I wish I had some advice, but all I know to say about this one is to try to see a doctor. I also wanted to say thank you for what you are doing for our country. I really hope you find your answers. Again, thank you and good luck.

If nothing else I would at least ask the military doctor where you are training.

Some of the problums with me going to the doctor is that I can't go while we are training unless it is VERY important. And the other is the you have to tell your "boss" (person in charge of you) where you are going, and what's going on. As a female I can get away with telling my team ldr (boss) that its 'girl problums' but I just got a culoscopy (did I spell that right?) from an abnormal pap smear (mild dysplasia, nothing to worry about) and we just got a female plt sgt (sgt in charge of the plt) so she might ask questions. I don't want anyone to think that I'm trying to get pregnant, because I'm not. A lot of females do so they don't have to go to iraq, but I've been there once, and have no problum going back. I just don't want to end up pregnant, not know about and then have something happen, so I'm on extra high alert I guess.

Well this is very important, don't you think?

If your previous pap came back abnormal and you've been having testing done, and still there is a legitimate problem going on with your body... I don't see how they could think that you were trying to get pregnant... But, I don't know how the military works in cases such as this.
Perhaps you could tell them what's happening to you and the symptoms you are having and see if they have a problem with you seeing a Doc.

I would say that this would qualify as being very important. You don't want to be going through field training, and then being sent to iraq while preggy, and I am sure they wouldn't want you to either. All they should need to know is that you think you might be preggy. Whether they think you are trying to do it to get out of going or not, isn't important. They have no right to question and I don't believe you are obligated to share beyond. I also wanted to thank you for being willing to serve our country. My brother is currently in Iraq. He is a husband and father of 3.(his wife is preggy right now) He was in the old guard when 911 happened. He was across the street from the pentagon when the plane hit. He was one of many that was there to clean up the wreckage and desolation caused by the terrorists. He saw things that will haunt him forever. And as such, he is more then happy to be serving over in Iraq, trying to bring justice and peace, not only for us here in the states, but for the Iraqy people. It always makes me proud when I hear of people who are so couragous and honorable to be willing to stand up for what is right, and to make things happen, where others can not, or will not. Thanks. And good luck

I'm military too, so I know what a pain it can be to get anything done that you need done. But I would talk to someone higher up and let them know that you think you may be pregnant and just want to get checked to make sure. Don't try to hide it or let it go for too long. You can't be participating in field training exercises while pregnant anyway. So they should definitely let you go. Hope that helps some... good luck!
