I was born in turkey in american hospital and when My mom moved to the states we didn't know that there was suppose to be some kind of form with my birth certifacte. So when I tried to Get a License or an I.d. other then a sheriffs i.d. at the dmv office they wouldn't except it. They said there has to be a form with it. So I can't get my drivers license. Would a sheriffs I.d. be acceptable to Get a marrige license in the state of N.Y.
